Singles – sole use of room

Passengers requiring sole use of room incur a single surcharge of $1200.00

Singles - willing to share

This tour is ideal also for those who are travelling on their own. If use of a single room is required then the single supplement must be paid. If a single passenger is happy to share with another, then a booking with the deposit is required and if another passenger of the same gender is also willing to share and has also booked, then the two can be accommodated as twin share and the costing will be reduced to the twin share rate. This arrangement however is not guaranteed and is subject to another passenger booking and requesting the 'willing to share' arrangement. If no other single passengers are willing to share, then the passenger will be required to pay the single supplement (deposits will not be refunded).

Departure Taxes/Airline Surcharges

Departure taxes and airline surcharges are included in the package costs. At time of printing these taxes are $350.00 pp but are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations and airline increases.

Tipping Made Easy

Tipping is a way of life in South Africa and in the tourism industry it is a firm and expected element, forming a major part of people's earnings. As part of your tour there are many professionals who will be helping to make your visit to South Africa enjoyable, informative and memorable. Your tour leader will handle the tipping on your behalf and therefore the compulsory tipping amount of $150.00 per passenger is included in the cost of your tour.

Booking

A deposit is required at time of booking. Payment of deposit represents acceptance of Terms and Conditions by the purchaser and/or passenger. Final balance of payment must be received no later than 65 days prior to departure.
Prices are correct as at 25th June 2009 but may fluctuate and are subject to change without notice due to changes in currency, surcharges, fees and taxes.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing and will take effect from the date received by Jetset Waurn Ponds. The following charges will apply to the tour costs:

More than 65 days before departure: Deposit
64-45 days before departure: 50%
44-0 days before departure: 100%

Health & Fitness

April's Wonders of South Africa Tour is not recommended for children under the age of 18 years of age. The tour is not demanding for people who are healthy and reasonably fit. It is recommended that you ask your doctor about current inoculations and requirements.

Insurance

Jetset Waurn Ponds will not accept responsibility for loss of deposit/full payment, loss or damage, personal illness or injury, medical expenses, cancellation or curtailment of your trip, etc. It is therefore strongly recommended that a comprehensive policy be taken out at time of deposit. Jetset Waurn Ponds can assist you with travel insurance. If taking out insurance from another provider, a copy of your policy must be provided to Jetset Waurn Ponds before travel.

Our Responsibility

We will always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory. The standards of accommodation and other services contained in this brochure are based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicated by a certain class, however we do not represent or guarantee that standard, class or fitness for purpose of the accommodation or service. Jetset Waurn Ponds does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those airlines, coach operators, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with your tour pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have had no direct and exclusive control.

We do not accept liability in contact in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss or delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbances, fire floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving or employees and even though such actions may be settled by acceding to demands of labour group).

Itinerary Variations

Much care has gone into the composition and costings for this tour and Jetset Waurn Ponds constantly strives to improve this tour itinerary and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary the itinerary and to substitute hotels.
Jetset Waurn Ponds reserves the right to cancel a tour no later than 30 days before departure if minimum numbers are not met. Jetset will if possible offer an alternate date. If you do not accept this alternate arrangement your deposit will be refunded.
